Re: Regarding HSUS and pheasant stocking
Personally I have seen what leaving a little habitat and releasing breed hens in the spring will do. I literaly does number on a population, but consistant releasing for a five year period and leaving habitat all the time helps. I have seen it first hand. Also you look at what S. Dakoata does. They ...

My old GSP was a beer fan, anything but Bud Light Lime, didnt care for it. She was my drinking buddy, put a little in a bowl and we'd hang on the back stoop. She is retired to a great family and enjoying her days! Wouldnt mind a beer w. her again!

I shoot pointed wild birds all the time! You just have to know how to hunt the cover your in and pay attention to your condition(weather, crp, crop, snow on the ground ect..) Conditions have a lot to do with it pionters or flushers it doesnt matter, Heck you got to consider if you have blockers too.

When It comes to GSPs I prefer a 40% tail, IMO if I want one with a longer tail I will by a EP.I like the boxy head too, but not reall picky there. I lean to lots of white or solid colors for me I think I can see them better while hunting. IMO
