If it was me, I'd take the rack off and have one welded up to the dimensions I need and use the same attach points to mount it.
Put the original away for safe keeping until you need to put it back on.

Yes, the key is to find the venue which highlights the qualities you are looking for in a birddog. If you can't find a venue in which your type of dog is competitive, it probably means that, although your dog might well be a good birddog, it is not among the best. There are lots of good birddogs tha...

It's possible that the combination of temperature and humidity were dangerously high that day. If the two added together equals 140 or higher (68 degrees and 72 percent humidity = 140 for example) it can be dangerous to stress your dog. Make sure you know what to do if your dog shuts down from the h...

I have always used plastic drums as dog houses. I am a little skeptical that the PVC frame will hold up, but I might try it any way. How did you fasten the barrel to the frame? Heel is easy to teach and I prefer heeling my dog whenever I'm carrying a loaded gun to trying to clip on a leash and have him yanking me around. I don't have a recent price for others but the Hankooks I bough recently (DynaPro ATM E load range P265/75/16) were $175.00 per tire mounted and balanced. That's about $40.00 per tire less than the Michelins I replaced.

KEEPING YOUR DOG CALM The calmer you keep your dog during training the less intensity is required to train him. To me, a trial dog is one that has what it takes to be considered by a judge for placement. By default, a trial dog is automatically a hunting/birddog.
