luke When sending a PM the message will go to the "outbox" and remain there until the are opened by the person sent too. Upon they're opening them they will then transfer to show in your "sentbox". Bottom line is they are not considered sent until opened on the other end. Hope that helps. ..."pear"

CS, The edges of the rib are shiny, as the likely will be on any blued or other type finish, but the actual barrel and rib surfaces, look like new after many rounds and lots of handling. Keep them dried and well oiled and I don't think you will be displeased in the least. As too the wood, the finish...

CS, I can't say for sure what the actual weight is on the 12 or the 28, however I have owned the 686 and 687 in all gauges including .410 and as the gauge gets smaller the weight does get less. Good Choice !!! ..."pear"

mossy , SXS or O/U either are very expectable 12ga. 2 3/4 is max length #6 shot is the largest shot size, 20ga does allow the use of 3 in shells. Sit on the flush will cost some time but I'd say that time will be minimal. Just remember as Colin has already said, missed and the need for second shots...
