If you were closer I would definitely take you up on that, and I appreciate the offer. I'm really looking for someone closer to me that might have some homers to start a loft. I know it's a long shot. Where are you close to? I take I 26 to 77 and on up when I go back to WV.

I've had very little success trapping wild ones. I have a couple that I'm carding just to get some drive into my pup. Anyone in SC have any suggestions on who I might get some from. Redman, Do your self and your pup a favor and forget about reading whats on the bag and feed what your pup needs to stay in the shape you want him. Those are guidelines on the bag for people who have no idea how to feed an animal. And since no two animals are alike they have little value in actuali...

Re: Changing dog food

You would be amazed what a 10% reduction in food does for stool quality. Also, pups are not known for producing stools as firm as adults, so take that into account. Make small reductions amd you will see a big difference. ALS is pretty caloric so he must not need the calories. Yeah, as usual this i...

Re: Changing dog food

He's a 4 1\2 month GSP. I'm feeding 3 cups per day. It calls for 2-4 cups for puppies up to 6 months between 25 and 50 lbs. He's at 40 lbs now. The sire to him is around 70, so he's going to be a bigger dog I think. He's not the type to gobble his food at all. If he's not exercised on a given day, h...

I've been feeding Canidae Lamb and rice as well as All Life Stages for the first four months of my pups life. He's doing fine on it I guess, as he's gaining weight at a good rate according to the vet. On the other hand he has terrible gas, and the stool is never really solid, so I'm thinking about c...

I picked up my gsp pup at 7 weeks of age and we had him house broken at 10 weeks. Not a single accident since. He's 4 months old today and has urinated TWICE in the floor right in front of me!! I almost came unglued the second time. What would cause a pup to act like that?
