I trained Bell to come with "come". Later, I wanted to to also use a whistle, so I would make her whoa for a bit, and then bast the whistle then say come and I would treat or praise her. It only took about four times until Bell knew to come on the whistle.

Hi everyone,

Came home today, and Bell has a cut on two of her toes. Its on the black pad part of her feet. Its not to deep, but its deep enought to have a slow bleed. What is the best way to treat this?

Carl and Bell both have retrieved to hand when a bird is in their mouth. I guess this because they like to have the bird and they want to keep it as long as possible =)

It seems that Bell only wants to fetch birds now. In the past, she would fetch anything! Now, when I tap her on the head she darts toward the object, but when she sees that its not a bird she just ignores it. :evil: Carl will go and grab whatever I get him to fetch, but he drops it on the way back. ...

My female GSP Bell never barks, but Carl the male GSP BARKS ALL THE TIME =)
