Patience, persistance, and consistancy... Gun Dog Supply has several books that have great informative tips... Why no love for the chukar bird?? Not a bird alive that physically challenges both man and beast more! Elkhunter, I would love to hunt wild chukars! I always thought pork, but I learned on this site, and a new vet that it is ok... but as long as we mentioned family and what the dog eats in the same thread... I agree with the other posts here... the English Pointers are more of a southern dog. I have one in Pa and she gets cold after an hour or so... my friends Setters are still going in the snow... but come summer, mine will still be going all day and the Setters are tripping on their tongues... I would...

Morality (from the Latin moralitas "manner, character, proper behavior") is the differentiation of intentions, decisions, and actions between those that are good (or right) and those that are bad (or wrong). A moral code is a system of morality (for example, according to a particular philosophy, rel...

My dog knows both sit and whoa. Keep them seperate. Whoa is worked on first on the training table or barrel, and on a mat at the back door. Sit is for a treat or when we meet someone while out walking and I don't want the dog to act like an idiot. My dog sat on a couple of planted birds and I gently...
