Re: Dog Shipping
I have a ground transporter that picks the pup up at my home and she will deliver to my buyers doorstep for 250 to 350 depending on how far away from NM. I like it and my buyers seem to also. She has her own crates, my buyer and i don't get tied up at the airport waiting. We had two pups sent to Was...

Re: Any other hunters from NM ?
I will have their entry and exit times pretty much patterned.we have exclusive use of some private land next to the refuge. I dont think it was your female that i picked over. I had choice of the last two of the litter.

Re: Any other hunters from NM ?
Cody i remember markus telling me that the pup i didint get was staying with a local friend of his. I did see her we had them both running around the yard. I picked the one with the larger spots that was a little taller at the time. I am glad to hear that she is something special i haven't worked he...

Re: Any other hunters from NM ?
Markus is a nice guy. We bought a hta-clj female out of jo jo and gunner. We are waiting for the rattlers to go away so we can start working her. We are planning on getting down there for some of the whitewing and collared action. He said he knows the spot.

Re: Any other hunters from NM ?
Hello, we are south of belen. You are right about not a lot of bird hunters. The river gets a little packed on the weekends for duck. Most of the dove and quail crowd shoot from the back of their trucks with a beer in one hand shotgun in the other. Bad area for dog sales also, i ship most of my dogs...

Re: CAN'T WAIT FOR HOT WEATHER TO GO AWAY
What i like the most about the cooler weather is the rattlesnakes go into hibernation. We regularly run into them for september dove season out in the desert. I stick to the irrigated farmland for training, the rattlers avoid it but the mosquitos don't.

Re: ISO Spin Top Kennel Experiences
I don't get where you guys are coming from about kennel with more than one breed of dogs. I wont take my pointers duck hunting in an icy river. My labs are not going to cover vast expanses of sparse desert for quail. We have a shorthair that's been with us for years she's not the best at everything ...

Re: ISO Spin Top Kennel Experiences
I looked at the website and it seems like the guy is willing to show what his dogs have got. As long as he's not too far away it wouldint hurt to go see. I hold lots of respect for someone who can show me rather than have a good line of bull. At 360 per pup there's not a whole lot of profit margin a...

Re: Advice Welcome- Shotgun for Woman
I just saw the other post, they do make and Al 48 in 12 guage but it doesent chamber 3 1/2. Its light but not as light as the Benelli super black eagle in 26" I have seen some of the used super black eagles go for 800 on guns america.

Re: Advice Welcome- Shotgun for Woman
I think your only option is the Benelli Super Black Eagle. Try to get the 26 inch barrell It will swing and carry nicer for you. The Franchi Al 48 20 guage Is a great gun But you said you wanted 12 ga and 3 1/2. Might look into buying both. The benelli cycles anything I feed it dove loads to goose 3...

Re: Pigeons keep landing in my yard with my dog:(
I don't see a problem with it other than sight pointing. Your dog is learning he can't catch a live bird. They are also developing their gait, style and endurance. Some of my best dogs were allowed to roam the yard all day and did the same thing sight pointing with wild birds. The only reason i keep ...

We are in the same boat as you as.far.as.prices and what's avalible. I have been feeding large square bales of alfafa for years now. I have tried 100 dollars.worth of 2 string and 3 string bales and the 3 by 4 always have been more hay for my money. There's someone from colorado advertising on albqu...

Re: looking for a ground transporter
I have one for you she's out of las vegas n.v. she's hauled about 7 for me so far. She brought 3 adult labs from WI to NM. for 500$ could have been just a favor for past business though. Shes taking a GlP to washington for me this week from NM so shes sort of headed your way anyway. My customers see...
