I took a look at dankar kennels, and was surprised to see spencer, along with a number of dogs I know in his kennel.
My hiedi bitch who is turning 17,is out of the same bitch as some of the dogs in the pedigree's,along with my old dog max.
Spencer was was fast shooting dog when I knew him.

I have not read the entire thread,so I could be repeating. But first off you can walk in any akc event,be it horseback allowed or not. If and when you get separarted from the other handler, your judge will stay with you,and your dog throughout the entire event. There can be some significant disadvant...

another option is to fly in a judge, and provide them with a horse, etc. I have flown out to Washington state twice to judge, around 400 round trip for tickets. More clubs should look at this option. so you are saying that a pup cannot be in training to be finished at 14 months of age? There is a couple of good reasons to run puppy stakes without birds being planted. The biggest reason is if you have a young dog who is progressing very nicely in steadiness work, you can run your pup in a trial, where it can experience all the new things a trial brings,a new brace mate,a loud handle...

I will vote to allow black into the gspca standards the day that dk's allow me to test an akc pedigree'd gsp in there testing format.
I would say that would be fair, allow dk bred dogs(black ones) to compete in akc conformation events, while I can run an american akc bred dog in dk events.

It would completely depend what the dog was before he was sent to the trainer. Did he know what a bird was? was he naturally pointing? was he afraid of his shadow? Was he well socialized ?
