I think the company that made them was Horizon and later became innotec. I never saw them in action but if they worked well it looks like someone else would come out with a similar product. I like the concept.

Home depot has the 22 cal. charges in different levels. The are made for the old nail guns but work great.. Can't help with the 12 ga blanks, sorry.

Shoot several for the dog, most get to liking them just fine after that. I keep homers and a pen full of wild trapped pigeons to shoot for the dogs.

In the upstate look for creek bottom land with privet hedge or short cane growing. One of my clients flew 30 woodcock saturday. That is not uncommon if you know where to look. This bad weather coming in is going to screw it up for a few days I think but once it clears they should be back.

For my pointers and other short hair breeds the feeding amount doubles during cold damp weather. The dogs with a coat of hair don't require as much of a increase. I go by body condition and pay no attention to what the bag says.

If thats the case you have a fairly normal pup that should gain confidence as it matures. Don't do any formal work until it is mature. Thats what I would do going by what you have described in the last couple of post. Your pup should gain confidence and get pretty cocky before long.
