Hope you figure out what's wrong and get the pup back to his normal self!
Thanks, test results came back negative 10(whater that means)so Vet call lab and will re test his blood, another day of waiting....

Did vet say what blood cell levels were?
I guess I'll find that out when the ELISA results come back.. They did a a rapid test at office just to determine if pup was infected with the Lyme bacterium.
Test also checks for heartworm and 2 other tick-borne infections.

Doc played around with his knee and the dog reacted a bit, said could be a torn ACL but dog is young and he really didn;t think that was it so he wants me to rest the dog, in the meanwhile they had done an in house lymes test which was positive so they took more blood and are sending it out to get t...

Pup limping

I just noticed my pup isn't putting any weight on his rear left foot.. I checked his pad and look fine, maybe his hip? He hasn't trained is 2 weeks so not sure what it could be.. He'll be 1 year old on Dec 1.. Wife has been telling me he looked skinny for a week or two and a friend that saw him last...

Its up to you and your vet but the Lyme vaccination is just not worth it. Ask your Dr
I have and she urged me to give to the pup since we hunt??

May I ask why you think it's nor worth it? I know someone who just lost his dog because of Lyme....

I'm testing in at Rock Tavern Chapter (NY) this Sunday, what do I need to know, any tips? I was a cool kat a few days ago but now getting very nervous.. :lol: Pup holds his points, loves the water, have done a few tracks with him and did great... The only thing that might give me trouble is cooperat...

Hasn't happen yet, LOL, he lays on his back with the ball in his mouth and plays with it.. Just a tad smaller then a tennis ball..

My pup was lifting it's leg 18 weeks old, and still does 80 % of the time, but, he'll lift his rear left leg and still manage to piss on his right front leg... :lol: :lol:

He is extraordinarily knowledgeable and I can't possibly say enough good things about him. I highly recommend him.

I started my pup with a greasy steak, dragged it about 6 feet in the grass into the wind and dropped it at the end, took the pup to the start and let him smell my fingers and then the grass, gave him the "find it" and let him lose... Now he knows what find it means and will track a bird or whatever ...

He's on 24% now, I saw one of his litter mates today and he looked pudgy and he's on 30%, I think my pup is right on track...

I think you will find more and more people that don't feed it since the premium feeds are almost identical and much cheaper.
Ezzy, so for a large breed dog(GSP)how much protein do you recommend a puppy should have, and at what age do you give it more protein? Thanks

I have a Great choice 26 in(med) crate for my GSP I will need one twice the size in a few months but I'm crate training so the smaller the better, no filling in the unused space...
