So, not having heard of Dramamine I looked it up. Which version of Dramamine were you using? One of them is identical to Gravol - 50 mg of dimenhydrinate, One is Ginger extract (Gravol has an equivalent to this as well) and the other is listed for Nausea, not Motion Sickness and has a different acti...

Keep watching for a thorn to show its point somewhere. Had a dog with a porcupine incident and wouldn't use her front leg for 6 months (She still passed 2 legs of her hunt test running on 3 legs) then one day I felt the tip of a quill and worked it out. 2 minutes later she was running on the leg and...

Save the trip to the woods/fields next time and just get upset. No need to leave the house if you are simply going to repeat t...

Look into a pinch collar, be gentle with it and he will learn to turn the pressure off by not pulling by himself. I use a choke collar ad a short solid core Check cord.15 or 20 ft. Make sure you have the collar on the dog properly. The sliding end should come over the dog's neck with the ring on the side nearest your leg at heel. Snap the check cord in the loose end. Your choke chain should be short enough so ...

Work on your recall - get the recall very solid. Then throw him a fresh bird and call him in - keep him moving in so he doesn't have time to think about stopping to mouth/chew/toss etc,.

Clarifying question for. So when he gets to 80 I should call him and if he doesn't then ecollar him. Is that right? I wouldn't call him back in, because a recall means coming all the way back to you, and that's a waste of time and energy if he's supposed ro be hunting. You want your dog to hunt in ...

Newer research ( ASPCA) does say you should leave pups with Mom and siblings for at least 8-10 weeks. Puts an extra cost to the breeder though so is not often done. We have never let the pups go before 8 weeks. It would be nice to keep them till 10 even - one of the main things they learn in that f...
