If you are looking for an English Setter by every meaning of the term then Berg Bros is the way to go. The Llewellin being a breed is a discussion that will go on for eternity. The breeding dogs that have the Llewellin moniker goes back to Mr. Llewellin and his dogs. The only registry that will regi...

Re: Llewellin Setter
I have a llewellin from White Rock Kennels. He is everything that I wanted in a setter. He has a lot of run so he can get through the pine meadows to the cover. In the house he is quiet and an easy keeper. I am not sure what exactly you are looking for but I would talk to White Rock Kennels in Waco ...

I got the Pathfinder over the summer. I am getting familiar with it and I am a fan so far. The battery life I am seeing on my phone is about 25% of the battery used in an hour and 15 minutes. That is what I have gotten the last two times out. I am not worried about the battery because I always carry...

I am not trying to be gruff but you don't want him pointing a frozen bird. They are for retrieving work and hunting dead and drags when you are working on tracking. He did what he is supposed to do. Forget the scents and get some pigeons or some strong flying bobwhite. JMHO. Great looking pup and ke...

The trainer at Anderson Creek should do a good job for you. I would get in touch with the Tarheel Chapter of NAVHDA. They train at Rusty Guns Kennels which is right next to Anderson Creek in Lillington. They should be able to help you work your dogs and get them where you want them to be. Also the C...

Contact Ezzy and get some pigeons from him. If you want the quail to fly you have to give them room to fly. Put them in a large enough pen where they can fly. Then after a few days of them acclimating to being in that pen lift there food up about six inches and put it on a platform. This way they ha...

I use the one from Gun Dog Supply that was listed. Here in my part of N.C. it does a decent job of keeping my pup cool. I don't put my dog in a crate until his panting has slowed to a more normal rate and if he is wet I wait until he is dry before I put him in. This I find helps.

The original post is from Feb 2015. The dog is 7 months in the picture. It is July 2016 that would make the dog a two year old. So it appears that the one in the picture is the one for sale. Not trying to start anything just an observation I made.
