Well, here is the scoop on my end, my roading rig of PVC is over 3 years old and it still works great.
I do extend it out and use a pin to hold it, it will be but have not broke it yet. The whole cost for the deal was about $12.00

Re: J R X Nike Pups
Her daddy and grandpa are just a joy to be around. Easy going and all the right tools for trialing. Both have already proved themselves and at the ripe old age of 4 on June 10th, J R has a lot more to do and nothing to prove. Really like what he is throwing, the older litter was very nice as well. Use your imagination and go and but some 1 1/2 inch and 1 1/4 inch schedule 40 PVC, a couple of clamps, bungee cords, double end snaps and put it on the fron of the 4 wheeler. Dave, check thd allbreed records for her timeframe. John talks all the time about taking her in a race tothe sandhills at Princeton IL. That would have been the allbreed.

In my 25 years around the field trial world, I have not seen any of that I can remember. Call John Steiger at Fine Line Kennels, he ran Buddendorf and if there is anything around he might know.
