Re: Advice on the "Bucket List" trip

General plans are coming together. Appreciate all the input. Al Gadoury will be in the plan somewhere. (Saw Scotts' show). Have contacted some of your suggestions but please keep them coming. I owe all of you a good cigar, a drink of some sort or a good dog biscuit :) ! Your choice...Thanks

Looks like things are going great. Big Kudo's to you , Rich and Joyce. If it's ok with you, I just might sip some of my favorite scotch when I light up that cigar when Jill gets those two points. Not putting any pressure on, but won't light up that baby until I hear the good news (won't give any det...

My dogs dog very well on Victor High Pro Plus. Check out the ingredients. I'd consider it a middle of the road from a cost standpoint. Dogs do better compared to when I was feeding a more expensive feed.

Wild birds, decent motels , good local food. Will bring our own cigars. Al Gadoury will be contacted. Thanks....

Good question. I think if I had what I thought was a superior female, I'd follow ultracarrys' philosophy. If not, I'd agree with Cajun Casey. I'm just looking for the best dog while trying not to be "kennel blind". The same amount of time, effort and $$$ would be put into either.

I have not experienced any issues with the DT Collar other than the size of the buttons on the face of the transmitter. The beeper is excellent. The jump/rise feature is nice (comes in handy if the dog gets on a deer,etc..). Beeper has severeal modes that are controlled by the hand held trsansmitter...

Re: UPLAND E-COLLARS wich one ?

This may not be of much help. I like to train with a TT Pro 100. But hate the TT beepers. I will usually hunt with a Dogtra 2502 T & B or a DT 2432 collar & beeper. The DT has the best beeper function of all (imo). It's drawback is the small stimulations buttons on the face of the transmitter. The D...
