I would suggest the tri tronics sport basic g3. It is a little above 200 i believe. Also, do not use the e collar to teach the dog commands, use it only to reinforce known commands. You guys that get mad at your dog for a training issue should evaluate YOUR training techniques. There is never, or rarely a reason to get mad at the dog. It's usually a flaw in your training program. I would say that an exception is when a dog bites you; as far as I'm concerned that is the unpardo...

The whole idea of force fetch is to create a mechanism where you can get the dog to retrieve at a high level in spite of the dogs desire. Are you 'sure' about this?... My search in this subject has not netted me a clear answer so maybe you all can help. Is there a formal and acceptable form for a dog on point? Is the classic one foot raised and tail stiff in the wind the only "proper point"? You're gonna get different 'points' of view John! Many look for the type...

Ok made a vid on planting pigeons for FLUSHING dogs. pre-planting a bird in the training area then bringing the dog into to area of plant. the dog in this method has not heard or seen the bird planted must fine the bird with his nose flush and produce whatever desire behavior is appropriate at that...

I don't think you can have Too many of One or another. You can have Too much B.S , or M.S Pointing or Flushing or Retrieving they all are just Gundogs. What you do with them is up to you. Personally , A truly ''versatile'' dog should do everything,and a versatile Hunter should be able to do the same...

That's not the problem. At 9 weeks he is using the dog door consistently and sleeping in his crate all night with no noise or accidents.
