Re: Goose Loads?

The only way to decoy geese here is with a John Deere with a rotary mower. Probably longer than I've been alive the snow geese fly from state refuge to state refuge to eat the freshly brush hogged corn and gain altitude quick as they come out of them. Luckily I have the 45 acres that borders one ref...

I like the #2's when I can get them. It's a happy medium for still keeping a pattern without large holes since it has the higher pellet count. But still carrying enough energy for high Flyers. We use a full choke extended briley on the Beretta xtremea 2. And an extra full in the SBE but I cant read ...

Cajun Casey and sd44 both have very valid points. Pull the scruff of the neck to make sure the pup is not dehydrated. If it's dehydrated call the breeder and let them know right away. Then call the vet right after. If not feed some canned pumpkin and get the dog back on what it was on before you bro...

Sharon I agree 100% on the dog not working behind. But I'm a fan of getting that bird 150 yards slightly forward and to my left before working the 500 yard ahead bird. I have dealt with this before. Last week was the most recent. Luckily he was a very tough dog. Make sure he knows his commands and you are producing birds.
