I live in Iowa and I bowhunt and run bird dogs. I know many others that bowhunt too. NONE of them would even dream of doing the things you describe. We are the stewards of the land and the herd. Depends. I have hunted both Kansas and Iowa during their deer gun seasons. No issues...never felt uncomfortable. In both states, one could often see trucks parked watching to see if we ran any deer out. It is one time I often wear a bit of blaze orange though....even if it is not required. Other mo...

Keep the lead in your hands, and once the bird lands give a tug on the lead and command here at the same time, and go 180 degrees away from the bird. Then on to the next.

Don't neuter your dog because he may never be used for stud,no reason for that.More negatives then positives but read all those before making the final decision & make up your own mind on that. I have owned GSPS for over 40 yrs & breeding a male or female is always a thought that comes up in a newb...

Best on the market. Better to have the features and use them when you need them, rather than not and wish you did. If you can afford it, then buy it. You won't be sorry.

Shags is spot on. Your dog looks good in the video. Better timing on your part is what's needed. Those birds need to leave quicker when he moves.
