Re: dog snipped at son
It happens, I recently sold a real sweetheart of a shorthair..... The new owners allowed her into their bed right off the bat.....in short order she growled at the fellas wife....he was on the line of wanting to give me the dog back. I had his wife feed and handle the dog as if she was hers and all ...

Re: trial question.....
Just for clarification I mean flat out Yelling and Screaming....Singing is one thing (although i still classify it has handling or over handling the dog) Most seemed to Scream....from a couple hundred yards it sounded like a lunatic in the fields. When I ran my dog he didn't know what to think at fi...

Re: dog snipped at son
Have your son feed the dog....have him wait for the right controlled behavior and then give the dog his food....he can also take the dog out (if its a house dog) and kennel the dog.....let the boy develop the right relationship with the dog....... If the dog nips i would roll him on his back and let...

trial question.....
Hope this can stay under control and not turn into an argument or trial bashing thread. How prevalent in walking trials is yelling and hollaring at the top of the handlers lungs? I attended a trial few weekends ago and the yelling was sumthin, and not exactly enjoyable.......Would seem a dog that hu...

you can add a piece of one by to the front of the box....screw a piece on that is large enough to cover the hole and that is cut out to match the hole in the box. This gives you double thickness at the hole area....helps prevent predators from enlarging the hole. also oval holes are better at exclud...

I used it with no issues except 2 of my pointers didnt much like it....so I kept hunting for a food they would all eat. had it too until exceed became unreliable. Now I find myself wondering again what to feed. These dang companies need to understand reliability is as important as the nutrition........

Good stuff but too expensive. I use Adams spot treatment its cheaper and available at Target or Online.
also use adams shampoo for ticks and fleas. Adams makes very good products at a much better price.

Evo is a dense chow, but worth it and it costs only marginally more than the cheap stuff Whats the price? Exceed is 29 per 44 lbs i believe. Re: Muscle/body Sore Dog
We'll just have to agree to disagree.... This is a method from a well known trainer with national titles. If you saw it you wouldnt say its abuse. Ruining a dog with a collar , not that would be more like abuse...and a waste. Would it be better to ruin a dog, have him hit by a car , shot by a angry ...

Re: Muscle/body Sore Dog
I agree its old school but abuse, not hardly. Done in under 5 minutes period. This was done on a dog what you cant put a collar on. He is so soft you would ruin this dog with a collar. Someone almost did. From my perspective this is nothing like shooting a dog for busting birds....thats a whole othe...

Again sounds harsh but it works quick. He has a plastic drum hooked up to an electric motor. Dog goes in , Deer hide goe...
