Experience develops a hunting dog.....development makes a big field trial dog what he is. You don't need a GPS but it makes life easier...in big country a dog that goes with you is going to show himself enough to let u know where they are....take the high ground. Sure sometimes it'll take you a bit ...

Not sure where 2 miles came from but a 500 to 1000 yard dog that goes with you is a wonderful thing, they naturally show to the front looking for you....turn the horse right or left or take off walking right or left with a raised arm and they go with you...some may be taught some do it naturally.......

The gm debate is ridiculous and driven by a billion dollar organic industry who's only recourse for high prices is to condemn, damage and try to vilify modern farming. Its driven by conspiracy theorists, the uneducated masses and social media. The anti's are hysterical and willfully misinformed........

Well bred pointers that go with you at long range is a thing of beauty......if you've never seen it than I can understand the confusion. One must see a dog work naturally like that to understand.

Re: Retriever net lab pups

1200-2000 may seem ridiculous but thats what well bred Labs cost these days, You can spend 500 dollars or 750 and keep your fingers crossed but its much better to pay a higher price for proven litters, especially if you may end up liking testing and move to trialing. Take a look on RTF Retriever tra...

BT "chemicals" have been sprayed on row crops since the 20's .....of course they are "showing" up, they are naturally occurring in the soil......Ge crops with BT are a much more conservative and responsible way to apply these natural insecticides....which by the way are used in organic agriculture....
