Would you consider breeding your FT, hunt test lines to a Show CH. that is all Show lines ? Dual CH that is from all Show lines ? Look to improve comformation by breeding to a dog that has the conformation your looking for from trial lines ?

All our pups carry our kennel name. Name the pup what ever you want as long as the reg. name is Northwaters what ever you want. If a buyer doesn't agree, we don't sell them the pup. A little food for thought. When looking for a pup from NAVHDA bred dogs it would be a good idea to check test records of sire and dam. You can do this by going to NAVHDA 's website. Click testing, go to individual dog test records. With some dogs you might get a eye opener...

If your dog does well on a food, feed it. We've never had good luck with diamond. All the dogs get is the runs. Lots of folks love feeding Diamond.

If you want a dog to back naturally and retrieve naturally with no exposure or training I think you may be expecting too much. Over a course of many years I have seen many, many natural backers and retrievers. For example, take a 6 week old pup, toss a dummy, pup runs out picks up dummy and hustles...
