if you don't wnt to get him snaked proof, have your vet give him anti snake bite shots. one shot the first month followed by another shot the next month then a booster shot anully. Well worth the price if you think the pup is worth it

I feed Diamond Extreme Athlete, 32% pro 25% fat. No corn, no wheat, no soy. Feed less clean up less. Coats shine like a mirror with lots of stamina. A little pricey but pays off in the long run.

Don't know about PS ammo, but I've had the same experence with Fiocchi Golden Pheasant ammo. Looked like my barrels were full of soot like a stove pipe, also my Browning O/U was so fouled that it was hard to break the action open. Gave that stuff away.
