Re: Pro Plan vs. Taste of the Wild
Pro Plan has a new Salmon Performance 30-20 that would give you an additional 121 calories per cup and 2% more fat. I'll check it out. I am feeding him 4 cups a day right now of TotW but he is only eating 2-3 cups of it most times. He's around 47lbs and I can't seem to put or keep weight on him. Ha...

right now you can help guide the puppy into being the dog you want. basic things puppies do no grow out of behaviors they grow into them so if you allow it now they don't magically grow out of it later. Begin to over lay the e collar with the check cord ...your dog has learned that you do not have control once the check cord is off.
You stated with the cord the dog listens ...
here is how i view and prep my dogs for the e collar http://www.kninebirddog.com/understandi ... ollar.html

The dog has identification and a microchip. So once found the person would be able to track quickly who the owner is. Getting/finding the dog on a large desert ranch area in southern Arizona is the difficulty.

Biggest thing is that you give the pup a leader in his pack and that you give him something to do. Give him direction or he will direct himself. When you go for walks do things change directions don't just let the walks be mindless time.

PS on working uut of the gunshy specially when the shots are introduced use I suggest using pigeons
1 pigeons fly better allowing the adrenaline of the chase to be really kicked in and
2 should there be anything negative it is related to a pigeon and not a game bird
