There is a study out there somewhere that blood plasma protein significantly reduces fecal output and increases digestibility. I imagine you can buy dried plasma protein from a feed store. That's something I don't have to worry about because I feed raw and there is plenty of blood in his daily diet...

Dehydrated pumpkin also is good for tightening them up. Just grind it up into a powder in a food processor.

Tuffy Gold

My local store has brought the Tuffy Gold foods in as the "value offering". They tried something called Southern States but it turned out to be a bad food.

I would recommend the wirehaired breeds as well. In the end body mass will dictate ability to take the cold along with coat of course but even heavily coated smaller breeds will suffer. Generally that is the case but these two guys sell to retail single bags.

On the East Coast there are quite a few breeders and trainers that act like distributors.

The guy told me he makes about $5 a bag cash and its enough profit to feed his german shepherd kennel for free.

Yes, the northeast in the worst area in the country. I didn't find one tick of the 3 or 4 species here. No fleas and maybe one or two green head bites in the summer.

I didn't use anything else.

I was preparing myself to ask for a refund but alas this product is on my list of money well spent.

You can't get Pride where you live? A few years back there was a vendor at an event and I bought 2 bags of Pro Series 26/20 at about $.50lb.

Yep it stains a bunch of things. One reason I went to a Seresto Collar this year, same company same ingredients pretty much.

The collar worked better than the liquid.

Permatack has 2 inch collars as well. Look at the tracking collars. I have a 1 inch collar that is probably the best made collar I have seen.

I know what corn gluten meal, it is a very cheap form of protein...not saying its necessarily bad but its what you use to keep the price down. It is very concentrated and very cheap.

It has also gained quite a reputation as an herbicide as well, makes you feel good about feeding it, :roll:
