Re: Dog crapping while hunting?
There is a study out there somewhere that blood plasma protein significantly reduces fecal output and increases digestibility. I imagine you can buy dried plasma protein from a feed store. That's something I don't have to worry about because I feed raw and there is plenty of blood in his daily diet...

Slistoe, there can be differences in the weight of a cup but they are close enough to generalize, which is what I did. 89 grams/cup to 127 gram/cup is darn near exactly the same thing, isn't it. There are always calmer puppies in a litter but that is all relative. It sounds like you have limited space and this will be an indoor dog as a family/hunting dog. I would recommend the wirehaired breeds as well. In the end body mass will dictate ability to take the cold along with coat of course but even heavily coated smaller breeds will suffer. Your Chessie can take the cold because it is probably 70 - 90lbs. That makes a huge difference. Really depends on ...

On the East Coast there are quite a few breeders and trainers that act like distributors.
The guy told me he makes about $5 a bag cash and its enough profit to feed his german shepherd kennel for free.
