Not from there, but have made the trip to the Waverly grounds for the national trial. Nebraska is part of the Midwest region with Iowa. There's some very good dogs running in that region and they have probably the best bird planter in the country too. You should check them out.

It's just another tool on the collar. It's an auditory cue for the dogs. I used it quit a but to reinforce turns on the whistle so I don't always have to rely on electricity.

Sounds like a dog with some brains to me. Also, you wouldn't believe how much harder it is for them to run in that type of grass. It's not just the height, it's the thickness too. Those tall chutes almost wrap around and grab their legs as they run.
