seriously? If you want argumentative, brash, and attacking then go somewhere else. This is the most polite and heavily moderated website on the web (as far as bird dogs go). You havent been around for long if you believe THIS site lacks moderating or even decency.

My friend and I hunted 5 fields and saw 4 coveys, 2 roosters, and a woodcock. There are birds out there still, you just have to work for them and be in the right place at the right time.

Also pen raised pheasant run, just like the quail. Get into some wild birds to teach the dog manners or do it yourself.

I do use a tracker collar to guard against a lost dog. The vibrate function is like kissing your sister, it may be fun but serves no purpose.

Re: Best e-collar with locate and vibrate...not Tritronics..!
One question I havent heard yet is why is the vibrate function a requirement? Seriously why would you ever spend the money to add the vibrate mode when a simple nick can achieve the same thing? 2 dog models, vibrate models, and tracking models are achieving only one thing, buying into the myth that ...

Why cant a dog that trials hunt? I got this same argument today and cant understand it. Most people that hunt with me LOVE the dogs I hunt/trial behind and I have waiting list's for puppies. Some people come up with pre-concieved notions that make no sense.

The question wasn't how the vet was practice of medicine, surgery, etc. Because the vet thinks that the dog is underweight does NOT diminish his/her abilities of treating the dog in the future. I have dealt with vets in the past that wanted my dogs to gain weight although he always treated my dogs i...

If its the first litter then your best bet is to wait tilll the pups mature to see who they take after most. I, along with other posters, agree that perhaps the bitc* does lend more to the litter than the male. When male dogs get serviceable t*ts then we will see.

Only way to know it to try it. Like previously mentioned, it works best under dark overpasses and barns. The fact that the overpass is lighted will cause more trouble than its worth. Find another spot.
