Rick
That pup has the same effect on me I have had some real sheetheads but this little guy to date is a gem. If he matures into what I think he is going to he will surely be something. I hope we can drum up some interest in the advanced seminars maybe next September or so.

A good time was had by all at the seminar in Maine this weekend I don't think anyone left w/o picking up something they could use in there training. I ride a bicycle 70-100 miles a week. When the weather is not too hot I ride my mountain bike in the woods with a dog or two free running, otherwise I am riding my road bike beating up the pavement. Ive got legs and stamina to go walk all day with my mutts come hunting season.

Thanks for the tips. I will watch her carefully especially her pads. She is a very snappy, hard charging dog in the woods (coverdog) stock, I am looking to get her in the best condition she can be in for the fall. I am in no hurry and will allow her to dictate the training.

Was hoping to get some insight on how much conditioning you guys are doing to get your dogs ready for trialing and the longer braces. How many sessions a day week, etc. How long? Couple things 1. You really need to spend more than 8 days teaching HOLD to any dog. The most I learned was when I became training director for a small group.
