It would be very easy... Just like the softball forum we visit saddle, you simply post a thread about the other guy and your experience ypu had with them. Good or bad feedback. It would be pretty simple. And when ypu dobfuturre business with someone, you can look them up and their feedback. I know s...

Re: baby pigeons
Like the others, we've weened probably nine or so, with about three close to being ready to send to one loft races, and all others at different points of development. They are eating a mixed grain, that one of the racers puts together, and I also feed them some pellets to supplement them.

Don't let distance (within reason of course) be a determining factor in deciding on a trainer. If you can find one you like, trust, and are comfortable with, then do what you have to do.
At least that's my opinion.

I have bought a few homing pigeons but had one falcon hit all of the white birds (12) within two weeks of free flying. I hit a guy up on craogslist who had young homers that had never been flown for 5.00 and I bought 10. He said they were good birds and after a week and a half I had them free flyin...

That wire care on the left actually goes over that hole on the left as well, its kind of a mini aviary to look around outside of the loft. I could block that hole and just put the birds in that cage set on the bench in front of the bobs to achieve what you are talking about. Yeah you could but seri...

Here's what I do. Build you a little "settling cage" that is a cage that is wire all around and fits over the landing board. The pigeon is enclosed, and the only opening is back through the bobs. Take the cage, and place the bird on the landing board, with the settling cage over it. Step back away a...

I had a pigeon that came back from a race probably three months after the race was held. Granted, he didn't place that race :) but he (rather, she) did real well in a couple races earlier. Another thing is to make sure that the pigeons know how to get back in the loft, as part of the settling proces...

I was once braced with a longtime pointer guy, owner of the NBHA NC, who told the judges he didn't think his dog would back a dog without a tail. I told him if his dog beat mine to the birds, it shouldn't be a problem. The judges and the gallery all laughed, we took 3rd, he didn't place. There are ...

Re: really! (why trials should not be limited to a breed.)
This is my spin. The fc is a performance based title, not a standard based title. There should be a minimum standard of performance to get championship points, and the best way to ensure this is to have enough entries to have a dog clearly perform at the level required. I ask you this,is a breed who w...

Maybe the next time you win a AGD stake that has 50% finished dogs in it you know you had to beat a quality dog in order to finish. And that's how the bar gets raised, for both the handler and the dog. I sense this "push" to not allow finished dogs to run, and yes, some are even going as far as say...
