I was thinking of getting one of these to help me work with my dog. Since I do most of my training alone, I hope it will stop her from creeping up when I go in to flush.

Nice setup.

Yea you can get that kind of cable at any home improvement store.

Where did you get stakes like that? I have a local steel supply house that might have something like that laying around.

What length do you recommend? How far do you drive it in the ground?

My vet charged us $150 ish when we had our Vizsla spayed about a year ago.

The are pretty expensive on everything else but I was certainly pleased to pay the $150.

An attractive but very hearty, deep rooted, urine tolerant lawn would be to establish modern turf-type tall fescue lawn. Once established this turf will stand up to most dog activity. Margo (Viz) passed both days. She had 5 finds on day 1, day 2 she had 3 finds then the judge asked me to pick her up.

Pokey (GSP) didn't find any birds on day 1 but day 2 he passed with 1 find.

How best to prepare a quail to eat

So I went on my first quail hunt this weekend. We traded the birds in for some frozen ones.

I see most recipes tell you to use semi de-boned quail. How do you remove the bones?

Can you eat the bird with the bones, or are you just asking for trouble?
