Birddogs forever filmed a show at the lodge I guide for (Smoky River Rendenzvous Inc.) a couple years back. We release birds, but not for the show. They used or featured Springers which did pretty well on the pheasant and quail too.

I personaly feed once a day. Rather than free feed mostly due to my half breeds weimer excitable stomach during hunting season I feed the night before and give snacks on breaks an at lunch. I get a lot better results.
