Not sure about a neuter but a spay at my vet cost me $88 for the spay job and another $8 for the rabies shot last year. She based it on the size of my dog which was 43 lbs. She told me neutering was quite a bit cheaper.

The Whippoorwill line of dogs are nice too. Seems to be a lot of this in the Phantom's Kennel line of dogs which Gotpointers has some of as well.
