I still remember my Mother's comment after she had cataract surgery over 10 years ago. "I can't get over how vivid the colors are." The process has made great advances since then also. Go for it. I may not be too far behind you. However, so far so good.

Brace four both dogs made it around to the end. However, bottom dog was birdless.

Brace five top dog picked up and bottom dog made it to time. I do not know is there was any bird contact. The brace just finished and is on the way in.

Guns are like Wine or Beer. You try it. If you like it you keep going back for more. If you don't you move on and try something else until you find what you like. Some people find something they like and stop searching others continue to search and build up a collection of what they like. Which ever...

You have been shooting a single barrel gun and it is probably what you have learned on. An o/u is probably the better bet for you. Especially if you get it fit to you. The reason shows up most of the time on crossing shots. But can even show up in straight away shots. When looking down the barrel of...

How is this type of event judged? If you have a bull in the china shop type of dog which spooks the grouse out of cover into trees yet locks up on sent is it faulted? If a bird is heard leaving cover and dog does not stop is it picked up on the presumption that is busted the bird? Never been to one ...

Senior is the first level where backing gets judged. Senior is also recognized as not a finished product but more a work in progress. Backing at this level in not a pass or fail requirement. I think we all agree that acknowledge is a change in behavior with the change being a recognition that the other dog is on point and the backing dog has started to slow down. See is different in that there ...

In your mind answer question 2 first. If you want the puppy to reach its top potential you need to expose it to a verity of situations. If you only want a foot hunting dog or mayby a hunt test dog then go no further. As to question 3 the answer is yes only to your expectations and the age of the dog...
