I carry my 40 cal when we bow hunt for bears, I used it last night to track my wifes bear, mine holds at least ten rounds, I can't imagine not stopping a bear at point bank with a 40 cal with 10 rounds, my gun of choice would be a 12 gauge with slugs for tracking

ive been loft flying my birds for atleast two weeks they seem to due pretty well how far do I dare bring them away from there coop for training, before I train them for longer distances, I either read or was told that the birds are already covering atleast a few miles when loft flying is this true?
