Not sure on navhda results, but sounds like Larue has given you the correct direction. Now on Pippen and Cory. I am going to make some assumptions here and hopefully you all can straighten me out. ssjetset, would your vet happen to be Doc R. of the "Shooting Starr" line of GSPs (he is my vet). If so...

Every grouse hunter has thier own preference. I have seen both, hunted both, and my opinion is...bigger running pointers that know how to handle birds. Key is knowing how to handle those wild birds...does not help to have a big runner busting birds all day long. I want him out there finding birds......

Tags for Deer here in WI are like swatting mosquitos...kill one, go get another. Some are actually free. Just need a deer lisence and in MANY "units" you can continue to shoot-em-up! Spring turkey Tags are another story...pick your unit, pick your time frame and hope you get your choice...again, kin...

Tyler, I am in SE WI 20 minutes NW of Milwaukee. Get together w/Chris and let him work with ya. Dogs are constantly learning and I do not think he is going to "forget" what he has learned. Will he be 100% - No. I really saw the light click on when my GSP hit 3-3.5 yrs old. After 3 (different) summer...

Sometimes the less we try and "teach" and the more we do in "fun", goes a LONG way in the pups development. Like stated previously, I d...
