Is it recomended to use these tactics on an 8/9 week old pup too? Yes, the pup's mom, if with the litter long enough, did much worse. What was described by Ultra is just good practice. It can be done as a process in a very gentle manner. You can simulate the mom's bite to the neck with your finger ...

I said "close to perfect", you know what I mean. You know plenty of folks, and you have seen dogs with faults that have been bred when they shouldn't have. I would also begin to take things away from him... toys, his dinner etc. Should he growl or make a grab for it or you, I would calmly take him by the scruff of his neck and lift him quickly into the air and just let him dangle there for a moment or two. Opinions differ on this, but letting a puppy eat until it shows the first sign of being full is a good way to handle one at this age. Measuring or reading the bag just don't address the need for food while the puppy is growing so rapidly. I also believe that pups raised this way learn to eat more mo...

There is type of honey called Manuka Tree Honey that has been used to treat bacterial infections where nothing else works. It is approved as a drug in Australia. The stuff is supposed to stop staph infections cold.
Before WW 2 honey was used to treat wounds on the battle field.
