grouse for me just being in the aspen with all the leaves turning there is nothing like it i do hunt some woodcock to but a grouse flush in thick cover that as tough as it gets

find a trainer close as you can and tell them what you want to do most trainers are glad to help there might be a small fee but you can get some good tips as you go

thats strange most collars when on lowest setting the dog or me cant even fell it my collar is level 3 and then it just a head twitchi have a d t collar and i have bass pro shop collar with a beeper both are level 3 for my dog try it on yourself and see what its putting out

put the dog in the creat but stay with him in the room he might calm down with you there start with 5 min then work your way up to maybe 30 min you may be able to bo a couply things at one time say kennel you may have to make him go in in the end you can have a dog when you say kennel go in himself ...

i dont know much about labs i have pointing dogs but when training i f the dogs is haveing trouble with training i always go back to where the dog was doing good and start again from there and i try to end training with somthing i know the dog will do and start again with what i know the dog will do...

get on internet and find hunting preserve in your area you can train your dog there or buy some birds from them it is a lot easy to let them put the birds out you show up hunt the birds and go back home

this just came to me my .dog years ago after hunting for and awhile hab some kind of seizure where she passed out and jerked her legs later on the way home had another attack my vet said it was because of sugar level droped to low she never had another attack that i know of

got a english pointer the same way i think its just in some dogs d n a my pointer weighs about 35 pounds but hunts hard all day so i would not get to upset over this as lone as the dogs energy level stays up

put the e collar away theres nothing good can come from this from the sound of this your dog knows he did wrong i would not make to much of a big deal out of it give it some time and see if things improve

dogs are like people some times people talk more than others its just there nature you can controll it to a point there are bark collars but the dog cant wear it all the time and they catch on to it fast they know when its not on them i was told just dont pay any att. to the dog but that didnt work ...

all you said is perfectly normal pup stuff you did well not to use shock coller the dog is way to young keep it fun just take the dog for walks and let it be a pup you can do basic stuff but keep it fun

normal reaction the pup wants to be with you thats a good thing but there are times we just cant and have to kennel them most will learn during the day they might be in the kennel and adjust to this iv had some that never did adjust but would go right in at bedtime
