Looks good, especially for the price. I did an 11 x 11 conrete pad which is nice, but cost me nearly $300 just in concrete with us doing all the labor. Besides the price drawback, if I decide I don't like the location a few years from now...............I can't pick it up and move it like those paver...

Have my first gundog puppy, so I don't know if I did it "right". We fed Puppy Chow until about 8-9 months. Then we mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with an adult 30/20 blend brand for the duration of those 2 bags. That took us to about 11 months and then we went totally with the adult blend. Again, don't know i...

This is my flood refugee "Nugget" (smooth collie). She stayed with us this past week while my parents property was inundated by historical flood waters of the Wapsipinicon River. Re: regarding the use of wild pigeons for training?
My first 4 pigeons were adults and not homers. They weren't wild, but from wild caught birds. I kept them penned for about 2 months. During that time, I would use hobbles or tethers so that I could reuse them. After about 2 months, we took a couple of them out and let them go in the yard. Took about...

I don't have ropes on mine, but I'm sure my dog would do the same if I did. She also liked to mouth it like a corncob and carry it at the end. What helped us was getting bigger bumpers, which made it a lot harder for her to mouth it. Right now I'm using the jumbo DT soft-mouth. You can inflate/defla...
