Chat rooms

Post by honeyrun » Thu Jul 08, 2004 6:02 am

Grant,

Anyway that you can get a general chat room started? Phil had one before he moved to Oklahoma and it was great. Several of us would get on it almost every evening and chat. Just a thought.

That's it.

Just like talking on the phone (if you can type that fast)

can an old dog learn new tricks

Post by kingsnow » Wed Oct 19, 2005 9:41 am

I have a setter that is 8 years old. I like every thing that the dog does but... he does not seem to have a desire to follow up on finding a crippled bird. He has not been force trained. I am a little hesitant about applying much pressure on him because he is a soft dog. He listens well and all I have to do is talk to him most of the time. If he needs extra attention I use a whistle. Anybody got any ideas? He can find birds and point them and retrieve a dead bird well. I hunt CRP that has lots of birds in it.
