My name is Tim Kilgore. I was a member of the forum a few years ago after a friend of mine told me how great a resource it was for the gun dog enthusiast, but due to the birth of my son almost 2 1/2 years ago I have not had much spare time to spend on GDF. I currently own an 8 year old english setter female that was my first bird dog. I trained her myself with very little knowledge or experience and she turned out to be a great hunting dog, companion, and family member. I only wish I hadn't spayed her all those years ago
So let's just say that I am "hooked" on bird dogs and plan to always have one or two around. I love working with dogs in the field and could not ever see myself hunting without a dog. I am planning to add a GSP puppy to our family in late spring/early summer and am very excited to go through the new dog process again, but I know that I will have many questions to ask on GDF.Great to be back!
