Hello from Mass

Hi All,

My name is Colin and I have Fox Red Pointing Lab named Ellie. She is just two months old and I have had her for a week. She is an awesome pup so far. She is very smart and has a great retrieving drive. We have been working on sit, come, appropriate puppy play, intro to a leash, crate training, and lots of adventure walks in the woods.

I will be doing both upland and waterfowl with her. We have crazy weather here in New England and I wanted a dog as versatile as possible. I have hunted over many pointing labs before and love them.

Welcome to the site. Lots of good information on here and multiple view points on just about every subject. Good luck with the new pup.

P.S. If your new to the training aspect I suggest reading the hall of fame post on "if you could go back". Excellent information for less experienced folks like myself.
