Hey guys i love the forum. I have been running dogs for 15 years now. Starting out with setters and now running GSP's. I guide at local reserves and usually run my dogs about 50 times a season. Thanks for all the great info and storys.

Jason,

Middletown is about mid-way between Dayton and Cincinnati on I-75.

We go there fairly often...it has the nearest Sonic.

It's not a bad trip. If you're ever down this way, stop by and I'll buy you your favorite beverage.

Heck, Joe, for the two of us, there is only one Sonic..., but 10 miles isn't too far when you really, really want a Route 44 Cherry LimeAid.

They are building a Sonic in Urbana, drive past it every day. Should be open mid spring. Maybe that will put us on the map.

They are also putting one in near Polaris mall north of Columbus, in Powell. I also think there used to be one (could still be) in Nelsonville, between Columbus and Athens.

But I digress. Welcome from a fellow buckeye.

Fellow Ohioan here. I am new to the group and dropping in to say hi. Just getting started with my lab pup. He will be my first gun dog and I'm looking forward to training him. I plan to use him for waterfowl mainly and the occasional dove and pheasent hunt. Looking forward to sharing information with you all.
