Hey All Ya'll ....still learning to spell Llewellyn..

Post by SetterChaser » Tue Feb 12, 2008 7:47 pm

Gabriel (Gabe) is a Llewellyn and quite a guy. He has two pals, both Border Collies, who try their durndest to do everything he does...but they finally learned that NO ONE has a nose like Gabe, so when we are in the field as a pack, they watch until Gabe goes on point, then race me to the flush. Hillarious to watch.

We just lost one of the best Labs in the known universe, Samantha, who was my son's best friend for 13 years. She was total class and an angel to boot. We will miss her mightily.

When I learn to cut pics to the right size, I will send some shots of Gabe at work. He is 7 now and has the game totally figured out. I keep working on my shotgun shooting to make sure that he can count on me.
