We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare.
And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

Thanks to all for the welcomes!

Breton I am geting my first German Shorthaired Pointer in July! I am mostly an upland bird guy, phesant and quial. Practice as much as you can with your new shotgun just to get the feel of the swing of the gun etc. Skeet arent the same but its somethig at least.

I live close to both of those places and they are the best in our area. You should consider joining NAVHDA. The local chaper is delval. The people are excellent and really have some amazing dogs you will undoubtly learn a lot. Our first training session is this Saturday April 12 at greenwood WMA. You certainly will fit in with the GSP. Also, you can come as a guest and meet and observe until you get your dog. Here are some links to the parent and chapters. First 2 training sessions are in greenwood and then always in Colliers mills. Check out the chapter website for the calender. Any questions let me know.
