Spell Check

Post by Kevin » Fri Jul 01, 2005 4:01 pm

Hi Grant,

Is it possible to add a spell check option before posting.

I think it's a good idea, don't know how hard it is for you to do but thought I'd mention it.

Kevin,
Funny you should bring this up. Grant and I were just discussing the Wednesday evening. I use MS word or a blank email and then just cut and paste in here, after spell checking.........I can tell you if I didn't, I'd be embarrassed to post, spelling was never my strong point. I'd say this forum program doesn't offer spell check from our discussion, but Grant will need to confirm that.........."pear"

Adding a spell check would be an excellent idea...that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine...if you're going to post...at least take the time to make sure the spelling is correct!

You might as well add the spell and grammar check. Until I started visiting this forum I didn't know their, there, they're were all interchangable

About a year and a half ago I asked Grant in a PM if he could add the spell checker option. As I recall he said it wasn't part of the software, thought it might be a good idea but felt it was low on his priority list. Part of the fun of the Forum is trying to decode some of the posts!

If you're using IE, you might try Firefox. It has a built-in spellchecker...
