Hi

Post by bjcaster » Wed Feb 11, 2009 2:39 pm

Hello, Ben here, from the Milwaukee WI area.

I recently stumbled upon these forums a couple days ago google'n some gun dog training for my Field English Springer Spaniel pup. This will be my first attempt at field training so bare with me if I ask some painfully obvious questions. I am about half way thru How to Help Gun Dogs Train Themselves, Taking Advantage of Early Condtioned Learning, so far, so good. She can waoh in her kennel and other simple conditioning so far. She only 3.5 months old.

I know there's not a lot of Springer specific information on these boards but I am under the impression that retriever and flushing training go hand-in-hand. (Not a lot of springer books / vids)

Killer Instinct, I'm here to help ya spread the good word on Springers :D

Anyways, here's some pics of Laila

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you can get some answers even though there are more pointer people here. We need more Springers >

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
