Hello,

I am new to the forum. I currently have a english setter that I am going to be training. I havent got off to the best start on the dog he is a year and a half and I havent done much training. me and my wife got pregnant right after we got the dog. anyone who has had a child I am sure know's they take all of your time. well I am looking forward to the challenge of training and am sure I will have tons of question's. thanks.

Hi Brandon,

Welcome. Don't worry about your setter. Just start him off like a pup and go through each step along the way. Some of them will just go some faster.

congrads on the baby, family always come first, then setters and then all other dogs. :lol:
Don't be afraid to ask any questions about your setter, there's a lot of good people here who would like to help.
