Hello from Upstate NY

Hello All.

I what to introduce myself. I am Al and I am from Schoharie county NY. I hope to find information about a good gun dog to get. I will be hunting Grouse in my area and northern New England.

Lots of folks use Brittanies & English Setters for grouse. I own German Shorthairs.

Welcome to the Board :) Consider an Irish Red and White Setter....they make terrific hunting companions and excellent grouse dogs. Brittanys too....

Ditto that, and they aren't bad to look at either! Except when they roll in the horse manure! then you don't want to see them or smell them.
