Gun Dog Newbie

Post by Kentuckyarms » Sat Oct 22, 2005 7:11 pm

Hello, I have been reading this site for quite a while now. I have found it to be very useful. I am brand new to the bird hunting world. I have been mostly a deer and turkey hunter. I got my first pup in August of 2004 and have been working with her. She is a GSP and my wife and I love her to death. She is now 17 months old. Her name is Gi-Gi.
We will be going on are first hunt tomorrow morning. A game preserve in Owenton, KY. I am excited. Not sure how well she will do, but I am sure we will have fun none the less.
Well, I think I have rambled on enough. Just wanted to intoduce myself.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Her ears were flopped back over her head. My wife doesn't much like that photo. I think it shows her playful side.
