New Pudelpointer coming to UT..

Great site and info! Being new to the pointing breeds, I need all the help I can get.

My 8 week old Pudelpointer is to arrive tomorrow morning from OR. Hoping that the Delta pilots dont strike before then!

Hope to meet some of the local UT guys that frequent this site and maybe get some tips and help along the way.

Congradulations on getting the new pup.

I know the local Navhda chapter is going to start meeting monthly for training. I think the training sessions will be at willard bay and ogden bay. I will send you the information if you would like.

I also know that some of the other Utah guys get together for training occasionally. These are great for new guys to meet some of the local bird dog folk and learn some training methods.

I'd be interested as well.
My pup is about a week old now, so I should be getting him in about another 7 or 8 so it's time to start thinking about training.

On the NAVHDA trining,Val is training @ Ogden Bay on Thursday eves. I think Art is training weekends @ Willard training area.
I'll be at Val's Thursdays. I'll be bringing plenty of homers and my equipment if needed.
Val would like everyone to RSVP, so he isn't waiting if no one will be coming.
