New Member from East Tn.

Post by ridgerunner » Wed Aug 03, 2011 6:17 pm

I'm a newbie on here, but looking forward to talking to everybody about Upland Hunting. I hunt the ruffed grouse and the occasional woodcock and covey of quail that I happen to find. I have an English Setter who is retired and a Llewellin Setter that is my current dog. he will be 7 in October and grouse are hard to come by around here, but I love it and I thought I wanted to quit...even took a 2 season break, but I missed it tooooo much..so now I'm back!

do you do well in that area hunting. My uncle struggles a little bit in Claiborne. does most of his hunting in sw va, i always managed to push a few birds every year while squirrel or rabbit hunting. not a lot around though.

my uncle raises a lot of birds if you ever need some, let me know and I can get you his number.
