I have a GSP and have been hunting for over 50 years but am fairly new to bird dogs. I am taking trips to SD and Neb. to hunt grouse and
pheasants, acct. our Quail population is nearly gone due to the drought here in Tx.

Welcome.
We don't have quail here in the north though I do raise them for training. It seems like all over the areas's of the country that have a population say that numbers are always down.
